The winds are still strong, so again we decided not to move today and M is still sitting just short of Handsacre and Armitage.

M`s position 13.9.2011. |
The day is filled with walking V, books, Sue`s nature watch for her 60-foot blog and a bit of M maintainance. And some short bread making by Sue - which came out delish.
Morning walk along the canal with V ... |
... with plenty to see on the way... |
... including someone who has got it right - boat and shed at the bottom of the garden |
Draining M`s sediment bowl, ensuring there`s no water to fowl up the fuel system. We use an addative called Fuel Set but still find M`s fuel tank collects a bit of water, probably due to being idle for the last six months or more |
M`s `engine room` |
M has two alternators that the battery management system uses to get the domestic batteries charged asap. We are running the engine a couple of times a day to keep everything working. |
At the end of another hard day the canal has plenty of pubs to choose from
