Not quite there....

Another update from dry land. We've been working like mad to get our house in Herts ready to rent out after our sale fell through at the last minute. We've almost finished & have now officially moved to Devon. It's taken longer than expected as we keep meeting 'challenges', the latest of which is a water leak under the drive. We still hope to get to Muriel soon, hopefully by the end of the week, or maybe early next week. We REALLY can't wait now!

Testing testing.....

Being a complete techno numpty, I've just spent half of the day trying to work out how I'll post to this blog from my gmail account rather than my ntl one.  Even Simon couldn't figure it out. As soon as we move on board we'll be stopping our ntl phone & email accounts so I needed to get it sorted. I think I've managed to do it now & I've also set up a linked blog which I'll be using when we're cruising. My '60 foot' blog will be my record of the wildlife I find beside Muriel whenever we moor up for any length of time.

Time to stop playing and get on with the packing......

Nearly there.....

A brief update......

We have now left work & are hoping to be on board by the 2nd week in August. We're planning to go up the Llangollen, although we haven't as yet worked out our route to get there. We will probably stay out until the end of October.

We are coming...

We've been looking forward to this for years, having been introduced to the idea of canal boating by our friends Gloria & Derek. They have been living aboard nb Completely Foxed for about 12 years now, so it's rather an odd cooincidence that they're selling up and moving back onto dry land next week! We really enjoyed the cruising that we did with them & are sad that we wont be doing it again. We are all starting new lives!

... G&D are going.
